Cherrydale Post Acute in Greenville, SC is seeking a Central Supply & Transport Driver (Full-Time) to support resident care and facility operations. The role combines inventory management with coordinating transportation for appointments and procedures.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and customer-service oriented, capable of handling multiple responsibilities across supply and transport tasks throughout the day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, central supply, transportation, or inventory management preferred.
• Long-term care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Central Supply: order, receive, stock, and distribute medical and facility supplies.
• Maintain inventory of items such as briefs, gloves, PPE, wound care supplies, and OTC meds.
• Monitor usage and identify shortages or overutilization.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ordering logs.
• Track supply expenses and assist with budget management.
• Develop positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Ensure supply rooms are organized, stocked, and compliant with standards.
• Assist department leaders with supply-related needs.
• Transportation: safely transport residents to appointments and other approved destinations.
• Coordinate transportation schedules with nursing and providers.
• Assist residents entering/exiting vehicles and ensure safety.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete routine inspections.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs promptly.
• Communicate updates and transportation concerns to nursing/leadership.
