Job summary

The City of Newton is seeking a dedicated Human Services Programs Assistant to support residents through a social determinants of health approach. The role focuses on marginalized residents, assisting with benefit paperwork, documenting case notes, and contributing to program outreach.

Under the Director of Human Services, you will meet with residents, help plan and evaluate programs, and maintain confidentiality while delivering services in office and community settings.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Meet with residents to assess needs and facilitate access to services.

• Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating the impact of programs.
• Perform other related duties as required.
