Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with one year experience working with people with developmental disabilities/mental health needs.
• Experience working in a 24/7 community living environment is preferred.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and documentation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate food, shelter and clothing for each resident.
• Provide first aid and nursing assistance as necessary and report needs to supervisor.
• Provide individual assessment and instruction in daily living skills.
• Lift, transfer and position residents as prescribed.
• Prepare meals with resident involvement.
• Monitor and dispense medications per physician orders.
