Job summary

Classical Charter Schools in New York City seeks a Supervisor to role-model the path to School Director. The role supports instructional leadership, classroom management, and schoolwide procedures in a high-performing charter network.

Responsibilities include coordinating lessons in absent-teacher scenarios, maintaining behavioral standards, engaging students and staff, and demonstrating reliability and adaptability to change.

Qualifications

  • An undergraduate degree from a 4-year college or university.
  • Have experience teaching at a high-performing charter school (preferred).
  • Visible alignment to Classical’s mission and approach.
  • Exhibit excellent work ethic and organizational skills.

Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm + some out of school time responsibilities
Compensation: $52,000-$60,000

  • Engaging with scholars and staff across a range of grade-levels
  • Being consistently reliable and present; communicating effectively; demonstrating flexibility and responding productively to in-the-moment changes
