Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator to provide effective customer service to prospective tenants, current residents and property staff by leveraging in-depth knowledge of the property. The role also supports planning resident activities and promoting a quality living experience.

The coordinator will manage resident functions, publish a property newsletter, handle issues, coordinate rentals and oversee maintenance requests to ensure safety and satisfaction across the community.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates all resident functions and activities including orienting residents to the property and assisting with utility setup and package delivery/reminders.
  • Develops and publishes a property newsletter with planned events, resident services, and advertisements.
  • Handles resident issues such as neighbor disputes, maintenance repairs and resident requests with incident reports as needed.
  • Schedules clubhouse rentals, maintains rental contracts and collects applicable fees; ensures guest suites are ready.
  • Processes work orders for maintenance, follows up with residents to confirm satisfaction and prepares weekly maintenance reports.
  • Inspects buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness and reports repairs needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Resident Services Coordinator is responsible for providing effective customer service to all prospective tenants, current tenants and property staff by utilizing in-depth knowledge of the property and its functions. This position is also responsible for assisting property staff with the planning and implementation of resident activities and promoting a quality living experience for all residents.

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Coordinates all resident functions and activities including orienting residents to the property, as well as assists with utility set-up and deliverance of packages and package claim reminders.
  • Develops and publishes property newsletter, which includes planned events, resident services, and advertisements.
  • Handles resident issues, including neighbor disputes, maintenance repairs, and resident requests. Prepares incident reports pertaining specifically to resident issues, in accordance with Company standards.
  • Schedules activity center or clubhouse rentals, maintains the contract on any such rental, and collects applicable fees. Ensures guest suites are in rental condition and provides additional amenities to residents, such as movie rentals, books, and games.
  • Processes work orders for the maintenance department, ensures they are completed timely and accurately, and contacts the resident to determine if they are satisfied with the work completed. Prepares weekly maintenance report to verify resident requests are being completed.
  • Inspects buildings and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness, and alerts maintenance to items that need to be repaired.
Physical Demands:
  • Incumbents need to be able to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time and bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
  • Incumbents must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, sleet).
  • Incumbents must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty-five (25) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance.
  • Rare or regular travel may be required to assist other properties as needed, attend training classes, business meetings, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.
  • Incumbents must be able to work a flexible work schedule, which includes taking “call” during evenings, weekends and holidays.

The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 - $24.00.

Additional Compensation

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

  • Corporate Positions:Inaddition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participateina quarterly or annual bonus program based onindividual and company performance.
  • Onsite Property Positions:Inaddition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participatein weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
