Job summary

Vicar's Landing is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to ensure a tranquil and safe environment for Members and Employees. You will enforce policies and procedures, monitor entrances, patrol independent living buildings, and respond to emergencies with calm professionalism.

The role requires high school or GED and 12–18 months related experience, with the ability to work part-time, communicate effectively in English, and maintain reports using the security log and time clock system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 12–18 months related security experience/training.
• Ability to read and follow procedures and safety policies.
• Must be able to communicate in English and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rapport with Members, Guests and Personnel.
• Identify, report, and take action on safety hazards and obstacles.
• Monitor a two-way radio and report suspicious activity.
• Prepare reports and daily duty logs for security inspections.
• Assist in protecting life and property and enforce parking regulations.
