Job summary

Continental Properties is seeking a Resident Relations Manager for the Sixteen-30 community in Plainfield, IL. You will lead daily operations, drive leasing, manage resident relations, and supervise financial reporting with a focus on occupancy and renewals.

Your role reports to the Community Manager and requires a customer-centric approach, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance front-office tasks with on-site operations.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of apartment leasing experience with strong resident relations and property finances.

Responsibilities

  • Drive leasing from first contact to move-in, respond to inquiries, conduct tours, and coordinate seamless move-ins.
  • Deliver an exceptional resident experience with a courteous, professional attitude and by maintaining tour-ready units and clean, inviting model and tour path daily.
  • Manage rent collection, payments, monthly financials, and delinquency management while building relationships with residents.

Description

Continental Properties is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-centric Resident Relations Manager to join our team at our beautiful Sixteen-30 residential apartment community in Plainfield, IL. You will help lead the successful operations of the community. Our Resident Relations Managers perform responsibilities related to business operations, resident satisfaction, leasing activity, financial reporting, rent collection, renewals, and marketing. You will report to the Community Manager of the property.

  • Pay: $20.00- $25.00

Providing an Exceptional Resident Experience

  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience by bringing a courteous, professional attitude to every interaction while ensuring our community always looks its best by inspecting and preparing tour-ready units andmaintaininga clean, invitingmodel andtour path daily

Driving Success Through Sales & Marketing

  • Drive leasing success from first contact to move-in. Responding to inquiries, conducting tours, following up with prospects, and coordinating seamless move-ins whileleveragingcreative marketing, advertising,resident events,and technology to achieve revenue and occupancy goals

Day-to-Day Office &CommunityOperations

  • Ensure a best-in-class resident experience by managing prospect and resident follow-ups, conducting move-inand move-outinspections, andleadingexecutiononlease renewals,evictionsand occupancy tracking. All whilemaintainingfull compliance with Fair Housing, Tax Compliance, and all applicable regulations

Your Role in Revenue & Retention

  • Manage the financial pulse of the propertyfrom rent collection and payment processing to monthly financials and delinquency managementwhile building genuine relationships with residents, addressing their needs, andensuring they areexcited to renew

  • Brings 2+ years of apartment leasing experience with a solid foundation in resident relations and property financialsincluding rent collection, payment processing, and account management
  • Can work aflexible schedule —including weekends,evenings, and holidays—because great servicedoesn'tclock out at 5
  • Comfortable balancing desk work with being on your feet—touring the community (for a period of up to 8 hours), climbing stairs,cleaning units,and using standard office tools like computers and phones throughout the day
