Job summary

Senior Lifestyle in Colorado Springs is seeking an Activities Coordinator to assist the Resident Program Director in creating, initiating, facilitating, and coordinating recreational and educational activities for residents of the community.

You will plan and lead a variety of activities, encourage participation, and arrange transportation when needed. A valid driver’s license and clear English communication are required, and no programming experience is necessary.

Qualifications

  • No programming experience is necessary.
  • Must communicate clearly and effectively in English.
  • Have an active, valid driver’s license.
  • Be enthusiastic about fun activities and getting others to participate.
  • Be patient, helpful and flexible when explaining directions and answering questions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and coordinating all resident activities.
  • Encourage residents to participate in programs and activities and provide transportation to them as needed.
  • Lead various activities as directed by the Resident Programs Director.
  • Order and maintain supplies for activities as needed.
