Job summary

Stage 4 Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Resident Network Operations Engineer for a 12-month remote role in the United States.

You will provide proactive and reactive technical support to keep a large-scale enterprise networking environment stable and performing optimally, including campus networks, EVPN/VXLAN migrations, and AI-enabled assurance tools. You’ll lead incident investigations, coordinate with engineering teams, and transfer knowledge to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting large scale enterprise network environments.
• Strong experience with enterprise switching and routing technologies.
• Operational expertise with EX Series and QFX Series platforms.
• Experience with OSPF, BGP, EVPN/VXLAN.
• Experience with Mist Wireless Assurance, Mist Wired Assurance, Marvis AI.
• Experience with migrations, upgrades, and modernization projects.
• Excellent customer facing communication and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical resource supporting enterprise network operations and infrastructure initiatives.
• Provide daily operational support for campus switching, routing, and wireless infrastructure, including EX Series and QFX Series platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, coordinating with HPE support and engineering teams.
• Support technology refreshes, upgrades, migrations, and expansion projects, including EVPN/VXLAN architectures.
• Operate AI driven networking through Mist Wireless Assurance, Mist Wired Assurance, and Marvis AI to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Lead investigations for complex, business critical incidents, performing root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.
• Deliver operational reviews, documentation, and knowledge transfer to customer stakeholders, promoting best practices for deployment and lifecycle management.

Job description

We are looking for a Resident Network Operations Engineer for a global high tech company. In this role, you will provide proactive and reactive technical support to ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of a large scale enterprise networking environment. The client is looking for resources with strong experience supporting enterprise campus networks, large scale switching environments, wireless technologies, network migrations, and customer facing operational engagements.

This is a 12 month (extensions likely), 40 hour/week, remote role in the USA.

This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
