Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Full-time Resident Monitor for the NSC-Charlotte Area Command in Charlotte, NC. The role monitors resident activity, ensures safety, enforces house rules, and maintains accurate records of daily operations.

Responsibilities include intake processing, room checks, asset distribution, security checks, and calm emergency response. Requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, and ability to work 7am–3pm with weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes intake paperwork and enters data into HMIS.
• Ensures rooms are in order and checks fire equipment.
• Distributes towels, linens, and hygiene items; manages medications access.
• Monitors residents and security, logs activities, and conducts rounds.
• Responds calmly to emergencies and follows policies to guide corrective action.
