Turing is seeking a licensed physician to work remotely on medical AI evaluation projects. The role involves designing evaluation frameworks and clinical scenarios to test AI systems against real medical problems, with a flexible engagement of up to 30 hours per week for an initial 1 month.
You will collaborate with AI researchers to improve model performance and ensure the clinical relevance of AI tools across specialties. Strong clinical judgment and communication are essential.
Based in San Francisco, California, Turing is the world’s leading research accelerator for frontier AI labs and a trusted partner for global enterprises deploying advanced AI systems. Turing supports customers in two ways: first, by accelerating frontier research with high-quality data, advanced training pipelines, plus top AI researchers who specialize in coding, reasoning, STEM, multilinguality, multimodality, and agents; and second, by applying that expertise to help enterprises transform AI from proof of concept into proprietary intelligence with systems that perform reliably, deliver measurable impact, and drive lasting results on the P&L.
Work with research teams to evaluate and improve how AI systems handle clinical reasoning. You'll design evaluation methods that test AI performance on real medical problems where clinical expertise makes the difference.
Help shape the next generation of medical AI by ensuring these systems can handle the complexity of real clinical practice. Remote work with flexible scheduling around your clinical commitments.
