Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a part-time kitchen assistant to support meal service for residents, guests and staff at our Gresham facility in Oregon. You will prepare all food according to the daily planner and standard recipes, and assist on the food line during mealtimes.

Responsibilities include ensuring all food meets safety guidelines, maintaining sanitation of kitchen areas, and responding promptly to resident needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in production cooking and/or preparing therapeutic diets preferred.
• Clear English communication is required.
• Willingness to obtain food handling and sanitation licenses.
• Basic computer skills with Excel and Word.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Strong problem-solving ability in variable situations.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor with residents and coworkers.
