Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in the United States seeks a Resident Lifestyle Assistant (Activity Assistant) to support the Resident Lifestyle Director in designing and coordinating daily life enrichment activities for active residents, promoting physical, mental, emotional, and social well‑being.

The role engages residents one‑on‑one and in groups, leads games, exercise, outings, and events, assists with newsletters, decor, and special occasions, with weekend/holiday availability and a patient,

Qualifications

• At least 6–12 months of relevant experience working with seniors, leading life enrichment activities is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and follow scheduled plans.
• Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations while treating residents with respect and dignity.
• Friendly, assertive, professional, outgoing, multitasked, and organized.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Support the coordination of external trips, including reservations, and ensure resident safety during outings.

Requirements

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience, Competencies, and Skills:
