• Preferred: a four-year college degree and certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Direct recreational activities for residents in the health and rehabilitation facility.
• Perform patient assessment and care planning for activities.
• Create a monthly activities calendar and provide therapeutic activities.
• Establish an active volunteer program and collect patient oral histories.
• Encourage patient involvement and engagement.
