Job summary

San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living seeks a Life Enrichment Coordinator (LEC) to plan and lead person-centered programs that enhance residents' emotional, social, and recreational well-being in assisted living and memory care settings.

You will foster an inclusive, engaging environment, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, mentor interns and volunteers, and ensure proper documentation of attendance, care plans, and activity notes to support quality of life across the campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Two years of experience with older adults in group or long-term care settings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to facilitate group activities and engage residents.
• Sensitivity to diverse needs and cultures.
• Ability to work independently and on a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic self-expression opportunities for residents at all stages of memory loss.
• Facilitate programs to promote social interaction and reduce isolation.
• Create a positive, inclusive environment respecting diverse backgrounds.
• Encourage participation from families, volunteers, and caregivers.
• Collaborate with campus teams to promote quality outcomes.
• Mentor interns and volunteers involved in activities.
• Document attendance, care plans, and activity notes.
