Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to help run daily programs and scheduled events, creating engaging activities for residents.

You will coordinate with other departments, encourage resident participation, assist with outings, and document attendance in the Resident Engagement Record.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements.
• Experience in social or recreational programming preferred.
• Fluent in English, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the coordination and implementation of the Life Enrichment programs.
• Facilitate scheduled activities with other departments.
• Promote positive interaction between residents, families, and community groups.
• Encourage resident participation and assist with resident outings.
• Adapt to match each resident's needs, preferred communication, and engagement style.
• Assist in set up and break-down of special events.
• Support residents in transportation to appointments and outings.
• Communicate regularly with Director of Life Enrichment regarding needs and concerns of residents.
• Document resident participation in the Resident Engagement Record.
• Preserve the appearance of activity areas, program supplies, and equipment.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
