Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant in Largo, FL to support daily programs and events for residents. The role contributes to a welcoming community by coordinating activities and promoting resident engagement.

Full-time position with 8am–4:30pm/430pm schedule Tuesday through Saturday. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour, based on experience, with emphasis on compassionate service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Be able to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
• Deal tactfully with residents, families, and staff.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, residents, and families.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluent in English, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the coordination and implementation of the Life Enrichment programs.
• Facilitate scheduled activities with other departments.
• Promote positive interaction between residents, families, and community groups.
• Encourage resident participation and assist with resident outings.
• Adapt to match each resident's needs and engagement style.
• Assist in set up and break-down of special events.
• Support residents in transportation to appointments and outings.
• Document resident participation in the Resident Engagement Record.
• Preserve the appearance of activity areas, program supplies, and equipment.
