Job summary

You will work with Environmental Services staff to maintain a tidy laundry area and smooth daily operations. The position requires following procedures, paying attention to safety, and communicating effectively with residents, families, and co-workers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of how to do laundry tasks.
• Desire to have the resident look well.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Wash clothes according to procedure understanding chemicals and equipment.
• Sort, wash, and fold clothing and hang dry clothing.
• Deliver all personal clothes to residents’ room closet and per request.
• Sweep floors in laundry room at the end of the day and mop daily as needed.
• Maintain laundry in a neat and orderly manner.
