Job summary

Avir Trilogy in Texas seeks a Laundry Operator to manage the laundering of residents’ personal items and linens under the supervision of the Housekeeping Director. The role requires knowledge of laundry equipment and proper methods to ensure high-quality care for residents’ belongings.

Responsibilities include handling soiled laundry, tagging, dry-cleaning items when needed, and returning clean items to residents.

Qualifications

• Previous nursing home experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and transfer a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Knowledge of safety, universal precautions, and facility policies/procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handle complete laundering of residents' personal items and table linens.
• Operate and maintain all laundry equipment and follow proper laundering methods.
• Return clean laundry to residents and communicate any concerns to residents or families.
