Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe environment in a long-term care facility.

You will perform daily housekeeping tasks, follow sanitation procedures, and interact with residents and staff to support a positive, comfortable living environment. Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, stand/sit/bend for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
