Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Cook - Dietary Aide HCC to support meal preparation and serving for residents in a Florida facility. You will assist the cook with meals, snacks, and nourishments, ensure proper temperatures and timing, and help manage resources under the supervision of the Food Service Manager.

Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining sanitation, assisting with tray line service, and complying with state and federal regulations for food handling.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow recipes and food handling procedures.
• Knowledge of infection control and safety practices in a kitchen.
• Wamiliarity with food prep and service in institutional settings.
• Ability to work as part of a team and assist in supervision of staff aides.

Responsibilities

• Assists cook in the preparation of meals, salads, desserts, snacks for patients/residents.
• Serves nourishments in accordance with guidelines.
• Stores leftovers and opened foods properly.
• Follows infection control policies and sanitizes work areas.
• Delivers trays to patients/residents and assists with serving beverages.

Education
