**Job Summary:**
Electrical Resident Engineer requirement for the Rhino Water– Malawi.

**Key Responsibilities:**
As an Electrical Resident Engineer on the WTW plant and the pipeline, you will be responsible for:

• Electrical engineering works and associated equipment during construction, ensuring compliance with design specifications and standards.
• Providing electrical insight at the conceptual stage for accurate budgeting and planning.
• Inspecting and assessing work streams on the plant to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Providing feedback on design issues and assisting contractors in resolving site problems.
• Understanding electrical design of infrastructure related to water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Interpreting electrical engineering drawings, including process and instrumentation diagrams.
• Collaborating with other engineering disciplines to resolve coordination issues.
• Preparing method statements for construction activities.
• Attending site meetings and managing document control.
• Performing ad-hoc duties as assigned by the HOD/Project Manager.
• Staying updated on environmental policies and developments.
• Presenting technical data to clients and colleagues.
• Monitoring project progress from start to commissioning.
• Ensuring compliance with project timelines and knowledge areas.
• Executing site instructions and submitting RFIs.

**Qualifications and Experience:**
- B Tech in Electrical Engineering, registered as a Professional Engineer.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience, with at least 5 years in Water Treatment Works.
- Knowledge of design standards.
- Proficient with MS Office and MS Project.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
