Job summary

NV5 is seeking a Resident Engineer for NYCDEP Pumping Station Rehabilitation projects. The ideal candidate holds a NYS P.E. license and has at least 8 years’ experience in wastewater and water treatment projects, with familiarity with city specifications.

The role involves supervising project activities, overseeing inspectors, and managing reports and payments. Responsibilities include reviewing submittals for quality and compliance and ensuring safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering and a NYS Professional Engineer License.
• Minimum of eight (8) years’ construction management experience on wastewater and water treatment projects.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience working as a Resident Engineer on wastewater and water treatment projects.

The pay range for this position in New York City is $170,000 - $208,000 per year. Base pay offered for this New York-based role may vary and can be higher or lower depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, this position may be eligible for a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on the role offered. This disclosure is provided in accordance with New York Senate Bill S1326. Base pay information is determined by market location.
