Job summary

RegalCare at Sudbury is seeking an experienced Activities Director to lead engaging programs for our patients and residents in a compassionate, home-like setting.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, coordinate events, recruit volunteers, monitor outcomes, and maintain records to support individualized care plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement activities programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our patients and residents
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure activities align with individualized care plans and goal-oriented therapy
• Coordinate and implement special events, outings, and celebrations that promote socialization, engagement, and enjoyment
• Recruit and manage volunteers, encouraging community involvement and participation
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities programs, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal results
• Foster effective communication and collaboration with patients, families, and staff to ensure a positive and inclusive environment
• Maintain accurate records and reports of activities participation and outcomes
