Job summary

Majestic Care of Goshen is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our team and support residents with engaging programs from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The role focuses on creating a welcoming, stimulating environment and coordinating individual and group activities.

You will lead activities, support decor for events, develop monthly calendars, and help promote community involvement. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma and Activity Assistant or CNA certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Activity Assistant Certification preferred.
• CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and participate in activity programming for residents.
• Lead individual and group activities and assess resident needs.
• Decorate for events and develop monthly activity calendars.
• Support family communication and promote community involvement.
• Maintain records of activities and attendance.
