Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program.
• Licensed or registered therapeutic recreation professional; TRS or equivalent certification.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and implement meaningful activities for residents.
• Design programs to promote socialization, entertainment, relaxation, and daily living skills.
• Oversee activities calendars, notes, and attendance; arrange transportation as needed.
• Supervise Activities Assistant(s) and coordinate with other departments.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Licensed Therapeutic Recreation Specialist

Certified as Therapeutic Recreation Specialist or Activities Professional

CPR/First Aid Certification
