Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living in Kennewick, WA, is seeking a Resident Engagement Coordinator (Finance) to plan and implement programs that enrich residents’ lives. You will collaborate with a leadership team and residents to create engaging monthly calendars and coordinate events across the community.

The role requires at least 1 year of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license; a Bachelor's in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of direct experience coordinating, planning, and executing programs for adults.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, health care, education, or related field preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop monthly calendar of resident activities in partnership with residents.
• Collaborate with community leadership to plan, coordinate and execute events (holiday, family, educational, and marketing events).
• Plan and schedule meaningful resident engagement opportunities, including driving a community vehicle when needed.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant's skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company's 401(k) program.

Education and Experience

A minimum of 1 year of direct experience with adults, coordinating, planning, and executing programs is required. High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) required. Bachelor's Degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, health care, education, or other related field preferred. Leadership experience preferred.

Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license and may be required to obtain a commercial driver's license based on the needs of the community
