Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a Dietary Aide for the Laredo South Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Laredo, TX. This PRN position supports meal service and general dining room tasks under the supervision of the CDM and Executive Director.

The role requires a Texas Food Handler Certificate, preferred high school diploma, and prior experience in a commercial kitchen. The position involves lifting and standing as part of daily duties in a nursing facility environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have Texas Food Handler Certificate.
• Working in a commercial kitchen experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations.
• Preparing and serving beverages.
• Setting up and passing trays for meal service.
• Stocking snack cart.
• Bussing of tables and trays.
• Cleaning the kitchen work area.
• Dishwashing.
• Follow proper handwashing guidelines.
• Additional special projects or tasks can be assigned at times by the CDM or the Executive Director.
