Job summary

The Bristal at Wayne is seeking a dining service professional to greet residents, take orders, and ensure a pleasant dining experience. You will assist with menu guidance, monitor dietary needs, and maintain restaurant-style service in a skilled senior living environment.

Collaborating with kitchen staff, you will ensure accurate orders, proper portions, and high standards of cleanliness and hospitality at all times.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests, assist to table and help with walkers as needed.
• Distribute/collect menus, take meal orders, monitor dietary needs and suggest menu items.
• Assist in plating and portion control of appetizers, salads, soups, beverages and desserts.
• Serve meals and beverages with accuracy and promptness.
• Check back to ensure satisfaction and address requests promptly.
• Maintain dining area cleanliness and table settings, re-set tables after meals.
• Foster community and social interaction during mealtimes; address concerns or special requests.
