Job summary

StoryPoint is seeking a Server to provide friendly, professional dining service to residents and guests, take orders, serve meals, and maintain clean service spaces. You will follow sanitation standards and collaborate with the Dining Services team to ensure timely meal delivery.

No prior restaurant experience required, but friendliness and teamwork are essential. The position involves standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and occasional travel to other locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be friendly, provide excellent customer service, and consistently display an attitude that fosters a teamwork environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals in a professional manner, demonstrating a genuine concern to please residents and guests.
• Follow safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Perform all side work and setup/breakdown duties as assigned.
• Ensure that residents and guests receive high quality food in a timely fashion.
• Maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate professional behavior, and practice good personal hygiene.
• Wait on tables and assist other staff as needed.
• Tactfully and professionally handle resident concerns and complaints.
• Follow all Dining Services Standards of service.
