Job summary

Singh Management in Novi, MI seeks a Dining Room Server to deliver meals to residents, clear and reset tables, and maintain cleanliness. You will interact with residents and kitchen staff, ensuring accurate service and respectful communication.

Prior serving experience preferred; good dining etiquette and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; this role reports to the Dining Room Supervisor within the Culinary department.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals according to resident restrictions, seating location, and drink preferences.
• Serve residents drinks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts.
• Interact with residents and associates to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Accommodate resident requests (condiments, half orders, substitutions).
• Listen to residents and culinary staff to minimize errors and exceed expectations.
• Review and follow residents’ dining restrictions.
• Clear and reset tables between meal services.
• Clean kitchen areas and dining room; remove dishes, wipe tables and chairs.
• Maintain high standards of personal and dining area cleanliness and sanitation.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Dining Room Supervisor.
