Job summary

Symphony of Tri-Cities is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our Dietary department in providing high quality nutritional service to residents. You will assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, serving meals, maintaining sanitation, and supporting daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth meal times.

The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and teamwork, with requirements including a high school diploma and ServSafe certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions, including some calculations.
• Basic knowledge of attractive food service, sanitation, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of meals and beverages as directed.
• Participate in the food tray line and prepare trays according to dietary orders.
• Assist with loading food carts and serving meals to Residents and staff.
• Bag and store food items as directed.
• Meal prep for next meal, including condiments and utensils.
• Bus and clean tables after mealtime throughout the facility.
• Scrape, wash, and rack unclean dishes and utensils.
• Operation of the dishwashing machine and related tasks.
• Keep logs for cleaning and sanitation as needed.
• Report equipment malfunctions and supply needs to supervisor.
