Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; follow procedures.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation according to the established menu.
• Follow sanitation, safety, and cleaning schedules.
• Follow proper cleaning procedures when washing and storing all dishes.
• Serve and assist residents in the dining room at breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly kitchen and dining areas.
• Respond promptly and courteously to residents’ and families’ requests for assistance.
• Communicate effectively with residents in a language they understand.
• Follow policies in emergency situations and be a team player with staff.
