Job summary

Westhampton Care Center is seeking a Registered Dietitian RD to oversee clinical nutrition for residents and support the Dietary Department. The role collaborates with the Food Service Director to ensure nutrition services comply with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies.

You will conduct nutrition assessments, develop and monitor care plans, and promote residents’ health through appropriate dietary practices.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) in good standing in the State of NY.
• Must maintain any required state licensure or certification in accordance with applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical nutrition aspects of resident care and support the operations of the Dietary Department.
• In collaboration with the Food Service Director, ensure nutrition services are planned, organized, and delivered in line with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies.
• Provide nutrition assessments, develop and monitor care plans, and promote residents’ health through appropriate dietary practices.
