Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, environmental services or laundry in healthcare or long-term care preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and commitment to cleanliness and resident satisfaction.
• Demonstrates compassion, professionalism and respect when interacting with residents, families and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas and facility spaces.
• Wash, dry, fold and distribute resident clothing and towels.
• Operate laundry and housekeeping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary environment throughout the facility.
• Follow infection prevention and safety guidelines and report maintenance concerns promptly.
