Job summary

Barre Gardens Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant in Barre, VT to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. The role offers up to $23/hour based on experience, with full-time and part-time opportunities available.

The Housekeeping Assistant will follow established procedures, launder linens, distribute clean textiles, organize closets, and support overall facility cleanliness to ensure resident comfort and dignity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to resident comfort.

Responsibilities

• Follow established housekeeping procedures.
• Collect and launder soiled facility and resident linens.
• Fold, hang, and distribute clean personal linens back to residents’ rooms.
• Organize clothing in closets and drawers.
• Support overall cleanliness and organization throughout the facility.
