Qualifications

• Must meet the Therapeutic Recreation Director requirements in accordance with the State of Connecticut Department of Health criteria.
• Two years' experience in a social or recreational program within the last 5 years, health care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive resident-centered recreation program.
• Enhance physical, emotional, social, cognitive, cultural, and spiritual well-being of residents.
• Oversee daily activities, events, volunteers, religious programming, and community partnerships.
• Collaborate with residents, families, staff, volunteers, and community organizations.
