Garvey Manor and Our Lady of the Alleghenies Residence in Hollidaysburg, PA, seeks a diligent Housekeeping/Laundry Aide to perform daily cleaning and laundry tasks in resident areas, ensuring a safe, comfortable environment in accordance with facility standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning bathrooms, floors, windows, and carpets; sorting, washing, and distributing laundry; following infection-control procedures; and reporting safety concerns to supervisory staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months to one year related experience.
• Ability to follow safety and infection control guidelines.
• Attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping tasks as assigned.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping with nursing services.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, fixtures and surfaces.
• Clean windows, floors, carpets, and walls.
• Handle laundry: sort, wash, dry, and distribute linens.
• Follow chemical safety and infection control procedures.
• Report accidents and safety issues to supervisor.
• Assist with snow removal and other duties as requested.
