Job summary

Evergreen Senior Living in Michigan's Upper Peninsula seeks a caring Resident Assistant to support residents with daily living tasks, provide companionship, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment. This position offers opportunities for advancement and overnight shift differentials.

Responsibilities include personal care, meals, mobility assistance, activity planning, and meticulous documentation, with teamwork across Health & Wellness staff.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual care for residents and the team.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support during each shift.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning as needed.
• Serve meals and provide feeding assistance when required.
• Plan and lead resident-centered activities and light exercise to promote wellbeing.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional status.
• Maintain neat, sanitary care areas and document care provided.
• Communicate clearly with Health & Wellness staff and follow safety protocols.
