Job summary

Pineapple House of Sapphire Lakes in Naples, FL, is seeking a compassionate, full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our assisted living team. You will provide direct resident care, administer medications, and support daily living activities in a collaborative, resident-centered environment.

Qualified candidates hold an active Florida LPN license, have experience in long-term care or assisted living, and can work rotating shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. A background screen is required.

Qualifications

• Florida Licensed Practical Nurse license (LPN) required.
• Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or similar healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by a physician.
• Monitor residents' health and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility).
• Document resident care and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with physician orders
• Monitor residents' health status and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Document resident care and maintain accurate medical records
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory standards
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive environment

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid and active Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Prior experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a similar healthcare setting preferred
