Job summary

Resthaven seeks compassionate caregivers to provide resident-directed care in a home-like setting. You will assist with daily living, med administration, and light housekeeping while upholding dignity and privacy.

You’ll participate in activities that support residents’ psychosocial well-being, document changes for the clinical team, and deliver excellent service to residents and families in a faith-centered, non-profit environment.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide resident-directed care in a home-like environment, recognizing individuality and autonomy.
  • Assist with activities of daily living and maintain resident dignity and privacy.
  • Administer medications as directed by the physician.
  • Update and maintain resident records and documentation.
  • Perform light housekeeping and assist with meals and life enrichment activities.
  • Engage residents in planned and unplanned activities to support psychosocial well-being.
