Qualifications

• Must complete and maintain medication administration training per state guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with self‑administration of medications.
• May administer medications with proper training.
• Assists residents with bathing and maintaining cleanliness of body areas.
• Helps residents with toileting needs.
• Helps residents with dressing and undressing and maintaining proper clothing.
• Assists residents in transferring, repositioning and walking.
• Obtain vital signs accurately and report changes in health status.
• Follows OSHA and CDC guidelines to minimize infections and handles chemicals safely.
• Assists with preparing and serving meals and snacks.
• Cleans residents' rooms, bathrooms, and work areas.
