Job summary

Smith Mountain Lake Health & Rehab Center in Moneta, VA seeks dedicated housekeeping staff to maintain clean resident rooms and common areas. You will support laundry delivery and help sustain a pleasant environment for residents, under supervision, following health and infection-control policies.

The role offers full-time and part-time opportunities with shifts 8:00a–4:30p and wages of $14.00–$15.00 per hour. Benefits and PTO are included, with a strong leadership team guiding staff development.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a high school program or have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have related experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job.

Responsibilities

• The primary purpose of your job is to clean resident rooms and other interior/exterior community areas, provide efficient laundry delivery services, and assist in maintaining a positive physical environment for the residents under the direction of the supervisor.
• Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community’s administration and Housekeeping Policies and Procedures.
