Job summary

Country Meadows Retirement Communities currently seeks a Housekeeper to provide one-on-one support to our residents by performing daily cleaning tasks in their rooms and throughout common areas. You will interact with residents and get to know them personally while maintaining clean nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, and clinic spaces.

The role is full-time, 8am–4:00pm, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in similar environment preferred.
• Ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows safe, efficient performance of the job.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping tasks in residents' rooms and common areas with service orientation.
• Clean nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices and clinic areas.
• Follow established schedules and use prescribed methods to maintain cleanliness.
• Operate housekeeping equipment such as washers, dryers, vacuums and call systems.
• Observe and report repairs needed for equipment or facilities.
