Job summary

The Phoenix at Lake Lanier is seeking a Housekeeper to join their team. This on-site role requires Mon-Fri work with every other weekend.

The Housekeeper will perform cleaning tasks across resident rooms and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and laundry, while restocking supplies and ensuring cleanliness per the cleaning checklist. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required.
• One (1) year job related experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning worksheet/checklist for each room and common area.
• Prepare cleaning solutions per specifications and mix water/detergents correctly.
• Follow safety procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Clean floors and walls by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
• Steam clean or shampoo carpet.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
• Replace light bulbs throughout the community.
• Ensure suites with 2 residents are cleaned twice a week.
• Notify supervisor via maintenance log for major repairs.
