Job summary

Arrowhead Assisted Living in Osage Beach, Missouri is seeking a dedicated Hospitality Aide to provide hospitality services to residents that do not require direct patient care.

You will support dining, linen, housekeeping, and resident comfort, assist with orientation, and help ensure a safe, respectful environment while complying with facility policies.

This role requires regular attendance, flexibility for weekend/holiday shifts, and the ability to assist in emergencies and basic lifting tasks.

Qualifications

• Regular worksite attendance.
• Ability to perform other duties as assigned within training and ability.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with co-workers and supervisors.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with co-workers and other departments.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle per policy.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to work beyond normal hours including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to assist in evacuation of residents during emergencies.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with/without accommodation.
• Use of transfer/gait belt when assisting residents lifting/carrying objects over 25 lbs.
• Primary Physical Requirements: Lift 10 lbs constantly; lift 11-25 lbs constantly; lift 26-50 lbs frequently; lift over 50 lbs frequently; carry up to 10 lbs constantly; carry 11-25 lbs occasionally; carry 26-50 lbs occasionally; carry over 50 lbs occasionally; reach above shoulder height frequently; reach at shoulder height constantly; reach below shoulder height constantly; push/pull constantly; hand manipulation (grasping/handling) constantly; torquing/fingering occasionally; twisting, bending, crawling, squatting, kneeling, crouching, climbing and balancing required.

Responsibilities

• Answer call lights promptly and courteously and notify proper personnel of resident needs.
• Pass trays in dining room and to residents confined to their room.
• Pass drinking water and ice.
• Strip bed linen and remake bed as directed.
• Report observations regarding residents to supervisor and record nourishment intake as directed.
• Help orient new residents to the facility.
• Straighten rooms and label personal toiletries.
• Clean equipment such as bedpans, wheelchairs, IV poles, as directed.
• Monitor compliance to state and federal regulations (bloodborne pathogens, infection control, hazardous materials, fire safety).
• Monitor adherence to resident rights.
