Job summary

Danbury Senior Living in Massillon, OH is seeking compassionate Resident Care Companions and STNAs to provide daily living support to residents. Roles may require STNA certification for the STNA track, or no certification for Resident Care Companion positions, with training available.

You will assist with personal care, escort residents to meals and activities, and help with daily needs while building meaningful relationships with residents, families, and the team.

Qualifications

• STNA certification required for STNA positions.
• No certification required for Resident Care Companion positions.
• Experience in Senior Living is helpful, but not required.
• Great outlook, cheerful disposition, and love of seniors.

Responsibilities

• Interact with residents and engage in activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with personal care routines such as showers and hygiene.
• Escort residents to meals, activities, social programs and appointments.
• Help with other daily needs as necessary.

We are currently seeking applicants for Resident Care Companion and STNA positions. This position is also often referred to as State Tested Nursing Assistant, CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant, Nursing Aide, Nurse’s Aide and Care Provider. Must be 18 years or older.

Our Resident Care Companion/STNA responsibilities include:

• Resident Care Companions and STNAs enjoy interacting with residents while engaging in the activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with daily personal care routines such as showers, bathing, personal hygiene, etc.
• Help residents prepare for and escort them to meals, activities, social programs and appointments.
• Assist residents with various other daily needs as necessary.

The experience and/or skills required for this position are:

• STNA certification required for STNA positions.
• No certification required for Resident Care Companion positions.
• Experience working in a similar capacity in a Senior Living setting is helpful,but not required.
• A great outlook, cheerful disposition, and love of seniors are a must.
