Job summary

Danbury Senior Living in Massillon, Ohio, is seeking caring team members for Resident Care Companion and STNA roles. Both full-time and part-time opportunities exist, with a robust benefits package for full-time staff.

The roles involve assisting residents with daily living activities, personal care, and social engagements, while maintaining a warm, respectful environment. A cheerful disposition and love for seniors are essential.

Qualifications

• STNA certification required for STNA positions.
• No certification required for Resident Care Companion positions.
• Experience in a Senior Living setting is helpful, but not required.
• A great outlook, cheerful disposition, and love of seniors are a must.

Responsibilities

• Interact with residents and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with showers, bathing, personal hygiene and other daily care routines.
• Escort residents to meals, activities, social programs and appointments.
• Assist with various other daily needs as necessary.

Job description

We are currently seeking applicants for Resident Care Companion and STNA positions. This position is also often referred to as State Tested Nursing Assistant, CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant, Nursing Aide, Nurse's Aide and Care Provider. Must be 18 years or older.

Resident Care Companion/STNA responsibilities include:

• Resident Care Companions and STNAs enjoy interacting with residents while engaging in the activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with daily personal care routines such as showers, bathing, personal hygiene, etc.
• Help residents prepare for and escort them to meals, activities, social programs and appointments.
• Assist residents with various other daily needs as necessary.

The experience and/or skills required for this position are:

• STNA certification required for STNA positions.
• No certification required for Resident Care Companion positions.
• Experience working in a similar capacity in a Senior Living setting is helpful,but not required.
• A great outlook, cheerful disposition, and love of seniors are a must.
