National Church Residences in the Senior Living division seeks a NonCNA/NonSTNA to provide direct care to residents under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, maintaining room cleanliness, and supporting restorative nursing programs to sustain residents’ ADLs.

Excellent communication and English proficiency are required, along with a HS diploma or GED and 2–4 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred or currently enrolled in a program to achieve preferred education.
Two to four years preferred.
Must have good communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and World Wide Web.

Responsabilités

Performs/assists with all resident direct care needs and comforts of daily living as needed, including lifting, turning, positioning, bathing, dressing, oral hygiene and grooming.
Provides for and engages in activities of interest to residents; maintains cleanliness of resident rooms; provides restorative nursing programs to maintain ADLs.
Communicates professionally and effectively, follows directions, and reports changes in conditions to supervisor on duty.
Assists nurses with tasks including measuring vitals, recording weights and documentation, making beds, assisting with new admissions, and training new staff.
Adheres to Resident Rights and maintains confidentiality; reports complaints and allegations as required.
