Job summary

Campbell Street seeks a full-time Housekeeper to maintain a clean, sanitary environment for residents. You will launder and deliver clean clothing, clean and disinfect rooms, and support housekeeping operations throughout the facility.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and strong English communication. Includes comprehensive benefits, same-day pay, and progression opportunities in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• Shall have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read, write, understand and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Possesses clear verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Sorts items to be laundered.
• Loads articles into washer and starts machine.
• Lifts clean, wet articles from washer and places them into laundry carts and into dryers.
• Starts dryers for set time cycles.
• Folds and sorts dried articles by Resident name, ID number or Room Number.
• Delivers clean clothing to Residents’ rooms.
• Sorts and counts articles to verify quantities of linens, towels, washcloths, clothing protectors, etc.
• Soaks contaminated articles in neutralizer solution to precondition articles for washing.
• Cleaning and disinfecting of resident rooms, dining areas, common areas, and public restrooms.
• Light office cleaning.
• Maintaining cleanliness of hallways and entry ways.
• Trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
